brief summary. an investigative journalist currently located at 13 bannerman road, sarah jane- a past companion to the doctor's third and fourth regenerations- specialises in protecting the earth from harm with the aid of K9 (mark iii) - a robotic dog gifted to her by the doctor, and mr. smith, a pacified xylok embodied within a supercomputer.amongst them, sarah jane has adopted luke- a boy genius grown from the bane's attempt to catalogue the memory of thousands of people, and sky- a young girl originally created to become a bioweapon and use her electromagnetic ability at war with the metalkind.she has also taken clyde, maria and rani- three young teens who crossed paths with her during her endeavours with alien life on earth, and have since been welcomed into her home- under her wing as both help and as family.
